000. Actually about the something-teenth strip, after I was getting a handle on what I was doing.

001. First strip, and still one of the best.

007.& 008. These two were an interesting bit of photoplay.

043. Lance was first mentioned in strip 042, but this is the one that introduced the Penny-Farthing Party

058. Helen Keller's first appearence explains something you should know about her.

087. One of the odder bits of artwork.

088. Just after the climax of the 2004 Tour de France — my favorite, in a format I've only used once before, in 043.
News photos seemed to work nicely when they were appropriate, so I tried to use a bit more in the future.
118. A funny (if stereotypical) joke. These are older versions of the artwork for these coins.

135. First appearance of Chris Columbus.

179. Nothing special except a funny punchline at the climax of a funny arc.

185. The return from hiatus. My second personal cameo.

226. Tesla, Franklin, DaVinci; what a triumvirate!

247. A really good joke in the middle of a string of blah strips

259. I expected Jesus would be having these deep theological insights with Krishna, but the characters in the strip keep taking on their own personalities in my subconscious, as though they were real psyches floating in the ether, just waiting for some outlet to give them release. And Jesus was a stand-up comic.

Any time you read one you especially like, please drop me an e-mail and let me know. Thanks.

Timeline: I came up with the idea in late January 2004. Made strips 001-028 in bursts of 6 a day from 1/28/04 to 2/8
(and 000 near the end of that, once I'd realized where I was going), then ran dry for a while. I wanted at least 30 for a
starting portfolio and that seemed to be my Rubicon. At last though, I got 9 more out in one last spurt on 2/23. And that
was it. I got one pathetic one out in March, none at all in April, only 3 in early or mid May, but at least they were good
ones, then in late May I picked up on the Lance Armstrong theme and started producing again. Then dried up again. And about
July 4, I vowed to draw at least one strip a day before allowing myself to do anything else, a resolution that has made a
world of difference.
Main web page recoded to update strip automatically, process completed about 7/6/05; for archive page completed c. 7/18/05.
Since this was a continuing process with fine-tuning even after the finish date, exact dates are somewhat iffy.
Copied everything from cwenkl.home.comcast.net to owenkl.mail15.com on March 3, 2006 because I was nearing Comcast's capacity
limit, (which was hit with strip #450) only to hit Mail15's limit on March 13th! So quickly rewrote all archive files so that
they would draw older archived material from ComCast's webspace (up to strip 400) and new material from Mail15's.
